ServiceNow platform has received the FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program) certification from the U.S. government, which in turn gives the federal agencies and other public sectors the confidence to accelerate their move to the cloud and enabling them to spend less time in managing and maintaining legacy infrastructure. More than 100 U.S. federal government customers such as NASA, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Defense (DOD), leverage ServiceNow platform to transform, modernize, and innovate enterprise-wide service delivery. To point out one such case study, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), wanted to stop managing hardware and legacy software, as multiple solutions bolted together results in complex and time consuming processes. The team was looking to create a cloud solution for their partners and employees to focus more on creating applications that work together across the entire organization. NASA selected ServiceNow cloud-based service management platform to deliver services to 40,000 civil servants and contractors, and its research and educational communities.
