The governments are using e-governance so that the administration processes become faster and transparent.
FREMONT, CA : Governments worldwide are launching steps to incorporate IT in all governmental processes due to the rapid growth of the internet and digitization. This is the e-government idea. E-Governance can be described as communication and information technology applications for offering government services, information exchange, transactions, incorporation of established services, and information portals.
It makes the entire administrative procedure simple, efficient, open, fully accountable, and accountable for the whole administrative process. E-Governance is essential, both in the government and the private sector, as a fast-growing economy and an emerging world leader.
Advantages
Speed: Technology allows swifter contact. Smartphones have the internet, allowing high amounts of data to be transmitted instantly all over the world.

Disadvantages
Loss of Interpersonal Communication: The biggest downside to e-governance is the lack of interpersonal contact. A part of communication that several people consider vital is interpersonal communication.
High Setup Cost and Technical Difficulties: Technology still has its drawbacks. Specifically, the cost of setup is very high, and the computers have to be maintained frequently. Computers and the internet will also break down and put a break in government work and services.
Illiteracy: People are tech-illiterate and thus do not know how computers and smartphones can operate. For them, e-governance is hard to access and comprehend.
