FREMONT, CA: Digital forensics is a legal and business aspect in the age of the internet. This involves identifying storing, reviewing, and examining digital evidence by means of scientific-based and validated approaches to address such legal questions. Digital forensics technology has shown a seemingly infinite potential. Digital forensics will grow gradually with advances in technology, as new kinds of digital data are developed by new devices that log people's activities. Though digital forensics have been started outside forensic science's mainstream, it is now fully absorbed and accepted as a branch of forensics and has prompted the investigation. Analysis: The information gathered from the earlier steps is sufficient to demonstrate or at least answer the fundamental questions concerning the case being examined. The analysis, therefore, seeks to make judgments based on the evidence.
Reporting: Reports are based on validated approaches and methodology. Many qualified forensic examiners should be able to understand the format so that they can replicate and reproduce the same findings.
Digital forensics is vital because it can save the resources of any company by detecting and mitigating digital evidence related to crime and fighting against it.
