THANK YOU FOR SUBSCRIBING
That’s where Evolon can help.
As a company that combines patented advancements and emerging technologies, Evolon has been providing the highest level of situational intelligence to government facilities for over a decade.
Founded by former engineers and scientists from the world-renowned Los Alamos National Laboratory, the company delivers advanced area and perimeter surveillance solutions, with an emphasis on critical asset and infrastructure protection. Evolon’s award-winning edge-based video analytics and AI/deep learning solutions are fully scalable for government organizations that require real-time situational intelligence to enhance security effectiveness and reduce the potential for loss due to criminal activity and bad actors.
Evolon understands that government sites can vary widely, with each unique variable requiring individualized combinations of video surveillance technology to ensure the highest level of protection and performance. Consequently, the company offers an integrated, end-to-end solution set, consisting of:
1. Evolon Edge, for Axis and Hanwha cameras,
2. Evolon Enterprise, for virtually all cameras and surveillance feeds,
3. Evolon Verify Previous, an AI-powered video event verification tool
“From the edge to the cloud, our solutions are fully scalable for government organizations that require real-time situational intelligence to enhance security effectiveness and reduce criminal activity,” says Kevin Stadler, Evolon’s CEO.
Evolon Edge is a software solution created specifically to integrate with cameras from Axis and Hanwha.
Finally, Evolon Verify operates as an AI-based video analytics system native to central monitoring stations that proactively validates all inbound video events before they arrive in the command center. As a result, it “scrubs” false alarms and provides accurate detection of objects of interest. By removing the distractions, Evolon Verify allows personnel to focus on genuine threats and respond quicker with fewer resources. It can be deployed in Cloud or on-premise behind firewalls.
With its solution set, Evolon provides its clients with the capability to go down to 1.7 pixels per foot on target range, six times farther than other players in the market, which can at best can go to 10 to 12 pixels per foot. This enables their clients to cover a large radius with minimum infrastructure and reduces cost. The feature has allowed Evolon to build a huge clientele, including customers in transportation facilities, prisons, airports, critical infrastructure and DoD, and DOE facilities.
Recently, Evolon announced that Tom Galvin has joined the executive team as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Galvin will lead all research and development (R&D) and engineering efforts as the company advances its video analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) offerings.![]()
From the edge to the cloud, our solutions are fully scalable for government organizations that require real-time situational intelligence to enhance security effectiveness and reduce criminal activity
“We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome someone with Galvin’s professional pedigree to Evolon,” says Stadler. “He is a proven leader and technical visionary of the highest caliber, and we’re extremely fortunate to have him join our executive team. We’re confident that he’ll quickly help us accelerate our efforts to bring better, faster, and cheaper solutions to market.”
